Larimer Senior Stories

The Larimer Senior Group and artist John Peña collaborated on a series of public art projects for eight years. They met for a monthly luncheon at The EECO Center in Larimer, where they enjoyed good food and fellowship while brainstorming new project ideas and planning field trips around the city. In 2020, Peña and the seniors created “The Larimer Times” Newsletter. This full-color printed document chronicles the lives of the seniors through first-person storytelling and vivid photography.
